Trajan's Forum

The last and most imposing of the Imperial Forums, the architect Appolodurus of Damascus designed the Forum for Emperor Trajan and construction took place between 106 and 113 CE. The complex, 300 metres long and 185 metres wide, was financed by proceeds of the Dacian Wars.
