Umbria
Umbria, in central Italy, is one of the smallest Italian regions and the only one that is landlocked. Its capital is Perugia. The flag, adopted in 1973, is green with an emblem representing the three “Ceri”, large wooden pedestals, weighing about 500 kg, that are carried, topped with saints' statues during the yearly Festival of Saint Ubaldo in the town of Gubbio.
