Paphos, the south-west of Cyprus
The floor mosaic in the House of Dionysos in Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, recounting the myth of Narcissus, the son of a river-god and a nymph, who, by way of punishment following his rejection of the nymph Echo, fell in love with his own reflection. Narcissus could not stop staring at his reflection in the lake water and withered away. The Gods took pity on Narcissus and turned him into the flower that has his name. It dates from the late 2nd or early 3rd century CE.
