Paphos, the south-west of Cyprus
A floor mosaic in the House of Four Seasons, north of the House of Orpheus in Kato Paphos Archaeological Park. It is named after the mosaic that represents the personification of the four seasons and dates back to the first half of the third century CE. The central panel is probably Dionysos, Aion or the embodiment of some concept such as the Genius of the Year. In the four corners are the representations of the seasons: Summer and Spring in the upper corners, Winter and Autumn in the lower.
