Bukharan People's Soviet Republic, 1923
On 11 October 1923 the Fourth All Bukhara Kurultay (Assembly) adopted a new constitution and the background of the flag was changed to red. The initials of the state, in gold were again in the Uzbek “Yanga imlâ” Arabic script: BKhShJ (Buxoro Xalq Shoʻro Jumhuriyati). On 19 November 1924 the name of the state was changed to the Bukharan Soviet Socialist Republic and 5 days later it was incorporated in the Uzbek SSR.
