The Ali’i, the High Chief, played by Tekoa Tafea, is carried onto the ceremony ground to the sound of conch shells and dances the dignified “Taualuga”, the Dance of the High Chief, joined by the young men who do an altogether more energetic performance; by Suluvale Samoa Culture and Performing Arts, based near Cairns, Australia.
