Sculptures with “khadag”

Sculptures with “khadag” ritual silk scarves in Erdene Zuu Monastery near the town of Kharkhorin and where the ancient city of Karakorum used to be. There were 62 temples inside but in 1939 the Communist leader Khorloogiin Choibalsan had most of the monastery ruined.
