Ömnögovi aimag
Ömnögovi (= South Gobi) is Mongolia’s largest and southernmost province. Its flag is light-blue over yellow, with the blue stripe twice the width of the yellow one. The provincial emblem at the upper hoist features a camel below a blue three-peaked mountain and the name “Ömnögovi” in white Cyrillic capitals on a blue ribbon. A yellow “tumen nasan”, an ornamental border symbolising eternity, on a red background, surrounds it with the “three jewels”, Buddhist symbols, at the top.
