National Library

The National Library, built in 1982 by Croatian architect Andrija Mutnjaković in Prishtina. It is a most unusual building, a pyramid of cubes, covered in 99 glass domes; the reinforced concrete structure is completely covered in a large-meshed metal grid that also acts as a sunscreen.
