Molise
Molise (Mulise in the Molisano dialect) is a region of Southern Italy, the second smallest of the regions; it was established in 1963, when the region Abruzzi e Molise was split in two. Its capital is Campobasso. Its coat of arms is red with a diagonal white band and a eight-pointed white star in the canton. The flag is blue with the coat of arms in the centre and the words “Regione Molise” in gold under it.
