Liguria
Liguria (Ligûria) is the coastal region of north-western Italy; its capital is Genoa. Its regional flag is a vertical tricolour of green-red-blue with the arm in the middle of the red stripe. It is an emblem depicting a silver vessel, with the old Genova flag (white, with a red cross) above it; there are four silver mullets in each canton. The emblem was adopted in 1985 and the flag on 27 June 1997.
