Gondar, Ethiopia’s first Capital

A Falasha boy plays the “Masenko”, a one-stringed lute made from wood and skins. The Falasha practice a modified form of Mosaic Judaism, and most were evacuated to Israel in the eighties during the communist regime of Mengistu Haile Mariam.
