La Habana (Havana), the Cuban capital
The Necrópolis Cristóbal Colón, a cemetery and national monument, renowned for its striking religious iconography and elaborate marble statues and one of the largest in the Americas. On the right is the tomb of independence leader General Máximo Gómez (1905) and the road leads to the main chapel, located in the centre of the cemetery.
