Senj, a fortified town

A wood carving displaying Ivan Lenković, the captain of the Uskoks, who built the Nehaj Fortress. Uskoks were bands of guerrillas who fought against the Ottomans (and some were pirates). It is on display in the 16th-century Nehaj Fortress, now a museum.
