Aboriginal Dancing in the Northern Territory

Warlpiri Corroborree

“Jurntu Purlapa”, a corroborree from the Warlpiri people of the Western Desert, in which the strange recurring dream of one of the men was acted out. The dancers are decorated with “wamurlu”, a chopped vegetable down coloured with red ochre and glued on the body.
