Leeuwarden, the Capital of Friesland
The Boshuisengasthuis (Boshuisen Almshouse) in the north west corner of the Jacobijnerkerkhof (Jacobin churchyard) was an almshouse built in 1651, where old single women could enjoy free residence. It is now a residential area with small apartments around a central courtyard.
