Ald Poarte, Uniastate

The “Ald Poarte” (Old Gate) of Uniastate, a former country estate in the village of Bears (Beers), dating back to the 17th century. The Gate house, built around 1600, still stands, but the estate no longer exists; a reconstruction of steel frames tracing the outline of the building was built by artist Beb Mulder in 1998.
