Curaçao
Landhuis Knip (from Kenepa, after the fruits of the Kenepatree), a country house dating from the beginning of the 18th century, in the north of Curaçao. It was once one of the most prosperous plantations on the island. Produce were divi-divi seed-pots and sheepwool. Now a museum, the manor was restored in 1985.
