Monument of Courage Earthquake Memorial, the Soviet Era Monument to the Tashkent Earthquake of 26 April 1966 which destroyed virtually the entire city. The memorial was built on its 10th anniversary and in addition to the typical Soviet era statue, both the earthquake fissure and the time of the quake itself have been immortalised.
