Abdulla Nabiev Maydoni

Abdulla Nabiev Maydoni (named after one of the first members of the Turkiston Komsomol, killed in 1925 at the age of 20 while fighting against the basmachi, the Soviet term for those who fought against the Bolsheviks in Central Asia during the Civil War), a square along Istiqlol (Independence) Avenue in Kokand. Across the street is the City Municipal Office.
