Khanate of Khiva, 1920

At the end of the civil war and in the month before overwhelming pressure forced the last Khan, Sayid Abdullah, to abdicate, apparently a new flag appeared in January 1920, showing a yellow crescent and star on a red field, with a green border. The colours were the same as the new flag of the Khorezm Republic that would appear the same year.
