In Avcılar (Göreme)

In the old town of Göreme, formerly called Avcılar, in the Cappadocia (Kapadokya) region of Anatolia, central Turkey; but when nearby Göreme Valley was designated an important tourist destination, a “centre” for all tourism in Cappadocia, the name of the town was changed to Göreme for practical reasons.
