The Guru Lhakhang Monastery, also known as Tamang Gompa, off the north gate of the Boudhanath Stupa, in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was named after Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), an 8th-century Buddhist master from the Indian subcontinent, who played a significant role in establishing Buddhism in Tibet.
