Sangoma and iNyanga - traditional healers of Swaziland

Reading the Bones

LaMabuza, the main “sangoma” or diviner (traditional healer) in Bethany, near Matsapha teaches a student, MhlabakaNgwane, the reading of the “ematsambo” or “bones”: after throwing them on the mat, telling them the solution to a problem by the way they fell on the mat.
