Western Samoa Trust Territory 1920

In 1920 Western Samoa became a “League of Nations Class C Mandate” of the United Kingdom, that delegated the actual governance of the country to New Zealand, a British Dominion. An official Blue Ensign was introduced on 17 December 1920, depicting three palms on sandy soil, in a circle on the fly. There was also a Red Ensign, used from 30 July 1922 to 26 January 1925.
