Garmo stavkyrkje, Maihaugen

The Garmo Stave Church (Garmo Stavkyrkje) in Maihaugen, the open-air museum in Lillehammer. The church originally stood in the village of Garmo in the former Oppland county and was built around the year 1150. In 1730, it was expanded, and in 1882 was sold to Anders Sandvig, who brought it to Lillehammer in sections. It was re-erected at Maihaugen in 1920–1921.
