Golden Gate, Royal Palace

The Royal Palace's superb Golden Gate into the Patan Museum. Flanked by two stone lions and dating from 1734, the finely engraved and gilded gateway is topped by a golden “Torana”, showing images of Hindu gods Shiva, Parvati, Ganesh and Kumar.
