Throne, Tribhuvan Museum

The Cobra Throne of King Mahendra, the ninth King of Nepal from 1955 until his death in 1972. It is at the Tribhuvan Museum, containing personal artefacts that belonged to King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah, the first democratic king of Nepal, who ruled from 1911 to 1955.
