Black Bhairab, or Kala Bhairava, deity worshipped by Hindus and Buddhists. He is a powerful manifestation, or avatar, of Shiva, associated with annihilation. The figure dates from the 6th Century and is north of the Jagannath Temple in the Durbar complex.
