Bumbu ceremony

A Bumbu ceremony in front of the Buddhist monastery in Tarke Ghyang, on the occasion of men going on a long trip. A man brings a gift of “chang”, the local home brew, to protect the men against evil spirits. A girl in festive clothes sits behind the array of bottles.
