Bhaktapur, Nepal’s best-preserved old city
The Nyatapola Temple on the northern side of Taumadhi Square in Bhaktapur. It is dedicated to the goddess Siddhi Lakshmi and was constructed in 1702 during the reign of King Bhupatindra Malla. It is a beautifully sculptured building, one of the tallest pagodas in the country and has a five-tier roof standing just over thirty meters high.
