Siddhi Vatsala Temple, Bhaktapur

The Siddhi Vatsala Temple, one of five temples dedicated to different forms of the mother goddess Vatsalā (Sanskrit: “loving mother”), at the Durbar. Dedicated to Siddhi Lakshmi, it is noted for its guardian statues, which includes a man and a woman holding a child and a chained dog, a pair of camels, horses, rhinoceroses and mythical beasts.
