Bhaktapur, Nepal’s best-preserved old city
View to Bhaktapur, the largest of the three former Newa kingdoms of the Kathmandu Valley. It was the capital of Nepal during the great “Malla Kingdom” until the second half of the 15th century. In the centre the pagoda of the Nyatapola Temple; just over thirty meters high, one of the tallest pagodas in the country.
