Shwedagon, the Golden Pagoda
The 23 tonne Maha Ganda Bell, cast between 1775 and 1779. It was stolen by the British after the First Anglo-Burmese War in 1825, but dropped into the Yangon River. Unable to retrieve it, they abandoned it and it was later retrieved by the Burmese themselves.
