The view from Mingun Pahtodawgyi, the brick base of a pagoda that was to have been 150 metres high, at the ancient site of Mingun 11 kilometres upstream from Mandalay along the Ayeyarwady (Irrawady) river. In the background the whitewashed Hsinbyume Paya.
