U Bein's bridge

The 1.2 kilometre long teak U Bein's foot bridge across Taungthaman Lake at Amarapura, an ancient royal capital, 11 kilometres south of Mandalay. The longest teak bridge in the world was built from unwanted teak columns, salvaged from the old palace when the capital was moved to Mandalay.
