Statue of Genghis Khan (Chinggis Khaan, c. 1162? – August 1227), born Temujin, the founder and Great Khan (emperor) of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death. The statue is one of three in the large marble construction in front of the Parliament House on Sükhbaataryn Talbai (Sükhbaatar Square), the centre of Ulaanbaatar.
