Procession at memorial

In a shamanistic ritual, people walk three times in a clockwise direction around the ovoo (ceremonial hill) with the stone marker commemorating Chinggis Khaan (Genghis Khan), on top of Deluun Boldog, a hill about 3.5 kilometres north of Dadal. Poles with blue ceremonial “khadag” scarves decorate the monument.
