Mongolian costumes

Women wearing traditional Mongolian costumes parade at the Naadam Festival in Choibalsan. They carry blue “khadag” ceremonial silken scarves, symbolising purity and compassion and something Mongolians use to show their highest appreciation and respect towards someone; the blue colour symbolises the sky.
