Galdan Zuu, Tsetserleg

A 7 metre statue of the Buddha stands in front of the Galdan Zuu temple above Tsetserleg, renovated with donations by the local people; numerous “khadag” ceremonial silk scarves decorate the monument. The rock face of Bulgan Uul behind the temple has some Buddhist inscriptions.
