Chinggis Khaan monument

The monument to Chinggis Khaan (Genghis Khan) at Chinggisiin Gurvan Nuur Tourist Camp near Dadal. It was built in 1962 to commemorate the 800th anniversary of his birth. Although the builders were prosecuted, the communist authorities didn't dare to remove it. A horsehair standard has many blue khadag, ceremonial silk scarves, tied to it.
