Noul Neamț Monastery, Kitskany (Chițcani), Transnistria
The bell tower of the Noul Neamț Monastery, an all-male Moldovan Orthodox monastery in Kitskany (Chițcani in Moldovan), a village 9 kilometres south of Tiraspol, in the historical region of Bessarabia, controlled by the breakaway Transnistrian authorities. The monastery was founded in 1861, when several monks from the Neamț monastery left and founded Noul-Neamț in Chițcani.
