Chișinău, the capital of Moldova
The Triumphal Arch (Arcul de Triumf) on Piața Marii Adunǎri Naționale nr. 2, built in 1840 to commemorate the victory of the Russian Empire over the Ottoman Empire during the Russo-Turkish War (1828–29). It hd a huge bell of nearly 6400 kg, smelted with copper of the cannons captured by the Russian forces from the Ottoman Empire. It was initially made for the cathedral's belfry but happened to be too big for it and installed in this arch. The monument and the clock's mechanism were fully restored in 1973.
