Albanian League building

The restored building of the Albanian League of Prizren (Lidhja Shqiptare e Prizrenit), that was formed on 10 June 1878 by a group of Albanian intellectuals to resist partition among neighbouring Balkan states and to assert an Albanian national consciousness by uniting Albanians into one nation. The building was completely destroyed by Serb forces in 1999, but beautifully rebuilt.
