Prishtina, Kosovo's Capital City
The statue of Mother Teresa in a small park along Bulevardi Nëna Terezë, in Prishtina. Born in 1910 in Skopje (North Macedonia) as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, the ethnic Albanian nun founded the Missionaries of Charity. She is best known for her work among the poor in Calcutta; she died in 1997.
