Little toy shop in the centre of Mitrovica, displaying the flag of Kosovo and of the KLA, the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK, Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës), the ethnic-Albanian nationalist paramilitary organisation that sought the separation of Kosovo from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Serbia during the 1990s and the eventual creation of a Greater Albania, stressing Albanian culture, ethnicity and nation. It was active from 1993 to1999 but relatively passive until 1996.
