Salih �ekaj statue

The memorial for Salih Çekaj, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army who died in 1997 during the war with the Serbs which eventually led to Kosovo's independence. This statue is in the centre of Deçani (Dečani), one of the strongholds of the KLA during the conflict in the late nineties.
