Main Hall, Bulguksa

Daeungjeon, the Hall of Great Enlightenment, is the main hall of Bulguksa temple. It enshrines the Sakyamuni Buddha and was first built in 681. The hall was reconstructed in 1765 after it was destroyed in 1593 by the Japanese.
