Busan Metropolitan City (current)
Busan (romanised as Pusan before 2000), on the southeastern-most tip of the Korean peninsula, is South Korea’s second largest city after Seoul and the largest port city in South Korea, with a population of approximately 3.6 million. The current blue emblem is placed in a blue circle with, in both Latin and Korean Han'gul script, its official name, “Busan Metropolitan City”. The emblem may also be shown by itself on a white flag, with or without the Korean name of the city.
