Ulsan Metropolitan City
Ulsan, in the south-east of Korea, is the country's industrial powerhouse, home to Hyundai, the world's largest automobile assembly plant, the world's largest shipyard and many others. Its emblem represents the Dragon defending the Temple of Tae Hwa, the dragon of defence of the fatherland, the dragon called Choyong, who was a son of the dragon king, the guardian deity of Ulsan and three dragons which have symbolized the East Sea. The flag also shows the name “Ulsan Metropolitan City” in Korean Han'gul script.
